Parts for the inside of headlights?

Well I have been working on my projector retrofit for a few days now and it is time to reassemble. I forgot that I managed to break one of the tabs that hold the light bowl onto the adjustment screw. It broke in half and I figured I could make it work. Turns out it is too loose as is.....soooo is there any way to get that little tab?? Or any ideas for a simple fix?

I broke mine too. I glued it back on and got the bowl to where i wanted it and jb welded everywhere around it to keep the bowl in place. Over a year and the bowl still never moved.

EDIT, Do you have a picture where that tab goes? I might be thinking of a different tab.

No I don't. It is the one that holds the bowl onto the adjustment screw. So JB Weld will work? Gotta have a plan B

And I thought I was the only one who broke one! lol It was one of those o s*** moments

It split right in 2 and I can get it to hold the screw if I don't move it. So I guess adjusting it then JB-ing in place would work out....just have to hope it won't need readjusting.

I saw a picture of what you were talking about. The tab I broke sits on the side of the bowl facing fender. Your friend won't be able to get that part because it's inside the headlight. Does it just snap onto the bowl? If it does you might have to get another headlight off craigslist, or even a smashed one from a wreaking yard should do.
* I wouldn't jb weld that screw in place. You will be adjusting the light for a while till you find the sweet spot.

Well I may have found a fix for it. Granted it is for an 80 something F-150, but I think I can make it work. If it won't clip in it is metal so it could probably be bent to size. If not it was only 8$. Not like I haven't wasted that much money on other things. lol
