I know this is late but I ran across a post from a few years ago on those clips that go around the quick disconnects on the evap. They are called Clips. If you go to Ford parts Giant put your year in and use the drop down under body go to hvac and you will see clips. Both for around 11 bucks or you can get the stock number and go to the dealer. I asked if they have a purpose and the tech told me yes they do in an accident or sudden Jarring these will prevent the quick disconnects from potentially popping loose. So if you have redone your system like most of us who have had the black death deal get the clips they are cheap. This Is one of the stock numbers:F6DZ-19E746-AA The other just ends in CA ones 1/2 inch thats the fluid line the 5/8 is the accumulator They do make a 3/4 also.
