I only have heat? no cold air... help

well i bought a new truck a 2 months ago and i havent needed to use the cold air because it is winter but i tried it one day and it does not want to go to cold?? its an 08 f150 fx4. i have been reading about the blend door? could it be that or is it the tempeture control? i have the electronic one with auto. someone please help me figure this out i really hate things like this..... thanks guys

Either the blend door or the blend door motor if I had to guess. Find out where the motor is and see if its moving (listen for it, etc.) moving the control hot to cold and back while you are listening. If you can take it off, that would be easier.

i have the digital control, i cant hear anything happening when i change from hot to cold or cold to hot. its just always hot....

i changed the blend door motor and now it works like a charm. i would try that, it was a cheap 60$ part from ford. a pain to change though....
