Heater core and blend door replaced, now no ac.

I replaced both my heater core and blend door, got everything put back together. Got it started last night, heat worked, turned to ac, took a min but it changed over. Today, about 12-13hrs later it won't change over, heat is super hot though! What could the problem be? Blend door motor? Could it be that since the heat was running for 20-30min before I tried changing, that the heater core is warm and can't cool anything yet? I'm pretty puzzled with this one, and I really hope I don't have to tear back in and take everything apart AGAIN. Hope it's something simple.

Thanks

Try reading the info provided at the heater treater web site. From what I understand the computer will make the door move, every 20th start. This will happen if you want it to or not. Its learing the position of your door. With that information it can sink with the control knob on your dash. I think this is part of the problem of why thay brake in the first place.

Thats the way I understand it, might be wrong!

Maybe you just have to give it some more time (starts). I know you really dont want to pull that dash again.

Got it working, I removed the radio, checked the wires coming from the temperature control knob, took the knob off, and manually turned the pin. I might've restarted it somewhere in there, I don't remember. But, after fiddling with it for a few, it magically worked - to which I immediately . haha The temp knob used to be pretty basic, cold, warm, and hot, no in-between. Now, it's totally different, works great. A/C is ice cold, heat is jet engine hot. I'm extremely satisfied. It took roughly about 10 hours total, with a few hangups. (broke the bottom of the blend door down in the hole, couldn't get the hose clamp turned around, ect.) Thanks for the help, got all the info on the forum here.

Thanks
