Question From vents to defroster vents

I run my a/c on max,blower motor on #4.Sometimes when I accelerate hard the air goes from the vents to the defroster vents.When I let off the gas it goes back to the vents.Any ideas?

Most likely a cracked/broken vacuum line under the hood. Look for a single black line running along the right side of the engine compartment, along the itop portion of the fender.
