blows hot @ idle

hello i have an 08 f150 4.6l with 19000 miles on it i bought it used with 16000 anyway when i am at a red light or at idle the A/C warms up but when i start going down the road it starts cooling my parents have the same yr and model but they have the 5.4 and theres doesn't do it please help i am tired od burning up i have heard of other people having the same problem and ford telling them theres nothing they can do

i have 2005 with 5.4 and mine does same thing. Mine never is hot at idle but there is def a difference between moving and idling

Well the cause is because there is no air flowing through the condenser. When the A/C is on, the clutch fan is designed to stay on. Pop your hood and make sure that puppy is spinning a good deal. Also check for leaves or anything that could block airflow.

Could be the temp blend door or actuator too,.
