Tsb 8.23.6 eatc 2007 f150

Hello. I replaced my blend door actuator per TSB 8-23-6 to try to cure a clunking noise. It never fixed my loss of cool air then clunk and air came back problem. Just took my truck to dealer and mentioned the issue to them and they called said they fixed it, I installed the door wrong and it was re aligned. I have the factory service manuals and it says nothing about aliging the actuator when reinstalling.

Does this sound correct? Could they have fixed my problem?
