04 recirculation not working

the fresh air door on my a/c wont close. i have only had the truck about 2 months but at first when i hit the recirc button the fan got louder, now it doesnt. i have searched but no luck. is there a testing proceedure for this or does someone know already what's wrong?

There is a vacuum line that goes through the firewall, right behind the battery box. That's always the first thing I check. The fumes from the battery seem to decay them pretty fast.
I just noticed yours is a newer model, but think 04 still uses vacuum. for the blendoor.
It don't hurt to look
