ac/heater fan resister

I have a 99 F150 V6 and the AC/heater fan only works on high, I was told the resister was bad and I would like to know how to get to it and how much is involved

It's pretty easy, you just have to take out 2 8mm bolts and unplug it. It is up behind the glove compartment, you'll have to lay on your back and stick your head way up on the floor board to see it. I think the part was $15 from ford.

See my thread " HVAC Blower runs only on high" about a page and a half down

Replacing HVAC Blower Resistor on 2001 F-150

I've included pictures and comments on how to fix this exact problem.
Good Luck.
