Question A/C Blower problems???

Has anybody else out there had as much trouble with their a/c blower motor as I have. My 2000 F-150 Lariat is on it's 4th blower. I live in South Florida and use the a/c about 10 months out of the year, but this seems wrong. Any help or suggestions on this??? I have used all brand-new Motorcraft replacements and they all seem to crap out within a year or less...Thanks in advance...

Blower problems

Starting to wonder if this is a Ford thing. Just bought 04 scab
only three weeks old had the blower replaced once and now the new blower will squeek and rattle on low and medium, probably
high to just to loud to hear it

My '03 SCrew has something inside that sounds like it's loose (like paper or a foam pad) and it is flapping in the wind when I have the blower on high. I haven't had a chance to take it in for servicing yet.

I take my truck in to the dealer today, there putting in another
blower motor. Luckily this is the only problem I have had with the
truck (other than the speeding ticket). When they replaced the
first motor the tech stated that this was the first time in
years that they have had to replace the blower motor. Starting
to think that they may have done somthing wrong.

Just a update for all of you. I am on the second fan and still the same chattering exists. I am wondering if this ever going to be
fixed.

My blower motor finally quit after 7 years. I got my replacement motor from a junkyard for $35 (dealership charges $98 for a new one). The installion was a pain and took me most of an afternoon. The motor is under the passenger side of the dash and is a difficult fit and hard to reach a couple of the screws on the mount. It works now and I don't have any weird noises either. Since it's very difficult to reach the back the technician may have put it in slightly crooked and not cared or just not put the back screw in, which could make the blower wheel rub on the duct. Some of the motors come with a foam gasket (like my '97) and some don't (the motor I got from an '01). Some of that foam gasket may have torn on installation or has come loose and is rubbing on the blower wheel (it looks like a hamster wheel).

I also found out that the '97-'03 all use the same blower motor. The casing may look a little different, but they all fit (a little tidbit I found out from my local Ford parts guy).

Still dealing with the same problem. I have the truck in this morning and was very adamant that they get this fixed. It has been going on way to long. They stated that they could just spray the motor with some lubricant and that should take care of it. I advised that this is unacceptable and they need to get this fixed by putting a new fan in. They told me they put a new fan in last time but I think they trying to pull a fast one.
