The head unit in our 2008 Expedition Limited has apparently lost it's mind. It randomly cuts off and back on. This will affect the dvd system also. Is it possible to put an aftermarket head unit in and the factory dvd still work as normal? I know a few years ago when I looked at an aftermarket head unit, the dvd player would only work with headphones. Has anything changed since then?
