Alpine dvd player in 07 lariat?

i got a alpine dvd player just wondering if i can hook it up myself without havin to pay for it to get installed i got a SWI-JACK from my supercharged cobalt not sure if it will work in my new truck?and what i have to do to get all the steering wheel features to work?just tryin to save some cash and upgrade the stereo any input would be greatly appreciated thanks

p.s. i already got my alpine touchscreen and 2 12 inch type rs the newer model and a 1500 watt phoenix gold amp that my ex threw on the ground hoping it still works lol
