Has anyone had to remove the antenna cable from the antenna base on a 97 F150? If so is it threaded or connected with some kind of clip? Or is not removal and removed with the antenna? Also has anyone removed the antenna mount? How U remove the base cover?

 

Got more pursistant and was able to remove cap on antenna base with a small flat screwdriver and hammer, removed base (3 screws) and found cable just plugs into base, no threads or clips, but socket is different from from socket in rrear of radio,stereo receiver.
