I recently bought the factory sub from a friend and installed it. the harness was under the seat and behind the dash. i bought a audiophile head unit from ebay which works and sounds great but for one problem, i have no illumination, there must be a way to fix this it is really annoying while driving at night and i dont want to go back to the other deck i have. any tips? thanks!

Audiophile? Is it a factory deck, if so I have the same problem. turns out what I bought was not from a Pick-up which is a non programmable unit but a Taurus which is programmable and uses a different signal for the the panel lights. You have to get it programmed for a Mustang to get it to light up.
