In ship mode

04 4x4 supercrew when you turn the ignition switch on the sceern you see IN SHIP MODE what does it do or what is it for and how do I remove it

Not sure of the type of radio you have.. but try these directions.. they apply to a 6CD unit...


Turn the key to ACC or RUN.
Turn the audio unit on.
Press and hold the LOAD button for approximately 2 seconds.
The audio unit will enter loading mode, at which time the shipment mode will be exited.
Turn the audio unit off.


Also have you replaced the unit, or taken it out for any reason?

Reason it says that is because dealerships use that when they ship these units to ensure nothing inside gets damaged..
