HELP!!! new HU

alright so i had all the wires set up right, i turned the key and the deck lit up and then one of the wires was sticking out barely and touched the back of the deck, (which is metal) and then it all of a sudden went black again, so idk wat to do, i tryed pulling it out and plugging it back in, i checked the fuse, even though idk if it may have burnt up, hard to tell in the dark, so if anybody has any idea please let me know, i am hoping that i didnt blow the whole deck up. so any ideas would be great, thanks,

You grounded it out and blew a fuse somewhere.

And obviously you didnt have it wired up all right if one of the wires was "sticking out"
