97 F150 Installed F87F-18C868AA Wierd Problem

I removed my stock f75f-19b132aa radio
installed adapters for a f87f-18C868AA MACH
radio and connected the speaker connector to
the right outputs.
When I power up there is NO SOUND.
If I unplug the speaker connector and re plug
it in the sound is there. If I turn ignition off and on
the problem comes back. If I just turn off the
radio and turn on it keeps working ok.

I also tried a 1f2f-18C868 radio with the same
problem.

What am I doing wrong?
