pac-audio swips with pioneer 3100

i recently installed a pioneer 3100 with the pac-audio swi-ps and everything worked perfectly fine until about 3 weeks later... the volume up and down sometimes does not work. If i restart my truck it will work for a while then stop. Anyone else have this problem? I followed the instructions from pac-audio. white wire to pin #18 red wire to 12volt accc black to ground? programmed it to version 3 then did programmed vol. up vol down seek up seek down?

any ideas?

Have you double checked your IR sensor to be sure it hasn't been pushed in or anything. Anytime I have a problem thats usually what it is. Depends on where you have it mounted.
