I have used an ipod nano and my iPhone 3g with a standard while ipod cord. I am shipping back the CDIU200V cord tomorrow. It seems it only adds video via an ipod (pointless to me). All other functions and uses can be done with the standard USB cord that comes with.

Hey Yetti, can it play movies while driving? I thought i read somewhere where you have to engage the parking brake or something to engage that function of the player.....

Yep, not a problem. I wired a relay up according to Low_e_red's instruction and the unit thinks the truck is parked and has the parking brake engaged. It is illegal but commonly done. Very useful for passengers. All I have to do to watch a DVD is: insert the dvd, select the DVD source if it does not do it automatically, and hit "OK" to confirm stopped and parked.

Awesome, I have been thinking about doing something like this in my truck. Since my wife got her card loaded I told her I had to do something to my truck in return. That unit looks good and I saw it online for around $400.
