Sub/amp to stock head unit.

i have a jvc head unit with a 400 watt amp and 10" sub in my truck, but i am getting a stock 6 disc head unit to put in instead of the jvc one. how do i wire the amp to the stock head unit?

you have to purchase a converter that converts the signal from your speaker wire into an rca form. im in canada and it costs about 70bucks for me. but it should be cheaper for you.

Check out a JL Audio Sweep. Yes it does cost more, But for what it will do for the stock head unit. It is amazing!

And for about 1/2 the price of the JL Audio sweep you can get an MTX RE-Q SIGNAL PROCESSOR.

I have used the MTX in a recent install and its worth its weight in GOLD.

Very easy to install.

Good Luck.
