Which HU

I have an 08 SuperCab with a stock Audiophile HU that I bought b/c I wanted to hook up my mp3 but since finding these forums, I have to buy the adaptor for 100 bucks which I don't want to do. instead I am going to get a H/U with Aux input on the front.

I will eventually run speakers to the front/rear doors but have to do it in steps.

What HU would be the best bang for the buck not going high end but not low end either.

Single CD player is fine with a front AUX input?

thanks for helping out a noobie...

Travis

The '08 doesn't have the 1/8" phono jack in the tray on top of the dash?
