iPhone connected to stock h/u ?

My 05 SCREW has the OEM 6Disc HU with Sirius tuner (but not the Audiophile). I am looking for a way to play tunes from my iPhone without using an FM transmitter. The Monster iCarCharger 200 looks like it would work. It plugs into the cigarette lighter and has the connector for an auxillary input. I saw posts here a couple of years ago on how to make this setup work, but I can't find them now. Will I need a PIE adaptor? I'm pretty sure there is not an aux input on the headunit, so any advice would be appreciated. I'm not interested in upgrading the headunit right now, though I realize this would solve the problem. I can't justify the cost as my audiologist tells me, based on my hearing test, I don't need to spend money on high end audio since I wouldn't be able to tell the difference. Seems I'm paying the price for those great concerts 25 years ago... thanks Nugent, AC/DC, etc

Anyway, I'm just looking for the most straightforward way to play the iPhone tunes without the FM transmitter. Thanks in advance for any help..
