Question HU cutting out

So I installed a Exceleon HU, amp, sub....and was not getting any power to amp and could not figure it out. Took it to best buy and the guy told me the remote wire was bad. So I run a new remote wire now no HU power. So we test it and he says the there is no power coming through the plug from crutchfield...so he taps a grey/stripe wire from the OEM harness to bypass. Now everything works....until the truck moves with the gas. I rev it it works, I let it roll it works, I drive and it cuts out. I come to a stop at the light and it all comes back on. WTF!! Did he tap a wire that makes it to where everything shuts off like the DVD player.(that I dont have by the way)

He may have tapped some sort of VSS wire. That does not sound very cool at all. I hope the BB guy didn't mar up the factory harness to bad either. I would make them fix it, but another person or location. The HU might have a defect not allowing a remote turn on? No too sure.

Grey/Black in the Ford vehicles is a VSS wire. Take that back to them, have them put it back and do things right. He has access to Directechs off his ETK. If he gives you any crap, have him call me. (Email me for my #) Make the little **** fix it.
