Pioneer 6000ub

couple quick questions about these pioneer head units

ik the 6000 ub has a motorized face and a front usb...do you have to have the face down or open to plug the usb in??

also with the 5000 and 6000 models how big of a hard drive can they run without delay?? the smallest hard drives i can find at best buy are like 250 gig and i read that some people were having issues with like a 120 gig hard drive...would a 80 gig be good to go with?? i wanted to go with a hard drive because there way cheaper than an ipod or a zune and i really don't need portable music beyone my truck

Is this the stereo your talking about. clicky here

If it is, the usb plug is in the back but it comes with an extension that run where ever you want. Idk about the harddrive i just use my ipod on my pioneer 6800ub.

I have the premier 690ub and mine comes out of the back. Works good with thumb drives and externals hd's. Have to be in a FAT32 format for it to read, but doesnt have enough power alone to power some external hd's.
