stock head unit

ok i have a 2000 f150 with the single disc cd player. i was going threw the functions and came across an option in the RDS button and it said traffic. you can only turn it on and off. also there was really nothing about it in the book. just wondering what it does.

RDS gives you the radio station info, songs, ect...

If you select the Traffic mode, it will search for a station broadcasting the traffic report at that moment. Works about 1/4 of the time.
