Pioneer USB Question

I have a Pioneer Head unit FT8000bt with the Usb connection. I was wondering if the songs I put on an external hard drive DRM(Digital Rights Management) songs would play. I have regular Mp3's on it now and works great. I am just wondering if these types of songs would play considering their format.

Pioneer has been very watchful with DRM files lately. The USB's will not accept the Zune because of the Rights issues with that. So, I would assume any file with DRM protection is well screwed.
