phone button on stock radio

it says nothing about this in the manual. What does it do? Can I connect my phone to it via blue tooth?

They used to have real car phones in vehicles. Like a phone in the arm rest.

But nowadays, people have cell phones, and the phone button is just to mute in for a phone call. NOT to receive calls via bluetooth...

But on some HUs you can get a wiring adapter to make the thing go through the speakers.
