Pioneer 7700 problems

My pioneer 7700 HU does not seem to have the power it used to. It has lost it's crankability. Does the HU need to be replaced? Is there something that needs to be fixed? The volume is just not there anymore.

the unit might be going out. it's a hard to tell. pioneers are really good units... but that one is three years old. there's a lot that could have happened to it. you might wanna look into gettin it replaced. does it ever cut out or anything? have any loss of anything else besides "crankability"?

Thanks for the input. The only other thing that I have noticed is it sometimes does not want to eject the cd. It will come halfway out and get stuck and you have to hit eject again.

hmm... sounds like it could be one of two things. try to reset it (with the button). see if that does anything and if not then do the other kind of reset which is where you just unplug the radio from the car and let it chill for a few minutes. if that does nothing for the radio performance then you should probably just cut your losses and get something else. pioneer is a really good unit brand to stay with it's what i have and is the only brand in the store i'll sell to anyone ha ha ha
