Question Reverse Sensing & Radio

Hey guys I'm getting ready to replace my F-150 Factory 6-disc MP3 with an aftermarket Nav Unit. I already ordered the PAC unit for the steering wheel controls, the Nav unit from Pioneer, the T harness for wiring, and the sat radio conversion kit to run the factory ant.

With all that said as I backed out of the drive this morning the reverse sensor system alerted to something behind me. It got me wondering if anything about that system connects into the factory radio?

Does anyone know if that sys is independant of the radio?

I would also like to know this. I drove a truck that when the reverse sensors were on the radio got quiet. Mine has never done that.

No the reverse sensor and the radio run on two different systems one will not hurt the other.
