Pioneer AVH-P4000DVD problem

I just installed the P4000 and it seems nice. The problem is that every time I restart the truck the stereo is off and I have to pick a sorce or I can change it to demo mode and then every time you restart it's in demo and you have to pick a sorce. It doesn't matter if I had the DVD/radio or MCD playing. I'm sure I probably missed something in the manual, just wondering if anyone elses does the same thing or what am I missing.

Thanks.

Mine does the same thing but only when I take out a CD or remove my Iphone from the hookup. It's a PITA for sure.

Every time I start my truck it picks up where I left off.

I'm not sure what I did to make mine so "KickA$$".

Thats what all my other stereo's did. I wonder if I have the cd-changer hooked up wrong? It comes on when I turn the truck on but it doesn't remember where it was. What do you have your changer power wire wired into?
