D3 Night Display Q.

i Have a avic D3. and i think their is supposed to be a way to make the colors in the GPS map turn way darker at night, cause now they are blinding. can someone help me on how to do this. there is a setting for "nighttime" but it doesnt seem to change anything considerable.????

Hook up your illum wire.

If ported, always tune to CRF 33Hz... aka the Golden Number

It will be the orange wire. Wire it to the lightswitch, that remains 12v regardless of dimmer position and is 0v when lights off.
