Cord to play Ipod plays radio too?

I got this "isimple" cord that plays your ipod to your stereo or car stereo on your head unit but when I play my ipod it plays the radio at the same time. And with my JVC head unit the radio is always on. You cant turn it off. Anybody know how to fix this?

Can you change the output station on the isimple? Say to - 88.1 or something like that??

it plays the radio because there is a station broadcasting on the same frequency as your isimple is using to transmit from the ipod. first, find a radio station that is empty, you know, nothing but fuzz, then tune your isimple to that frequency.

Its not one of those FM transmitters. Its just a cord that plugs up to the back of the head unit. I did that and all it does is make the fuzzy noise louder and louder. It wont turn up my ipod any louder. I can only adjust the volume on the ipod, not on the head unit volume.
