DNX-8120 Firmware Version

Can anyone with a TRUE Certified Upgrade version of this radio post up what your firmware version numer is?

Should be something like 2.2.4-312-314

This should help all those who are questioning their dnx 8120 status.

Your box should have a sticker on it that says Certified Upgrade. Also your navigation would be locking up if it wasn't upgraded.

Right, KC.

I still don't have mine, but my friend recently bought one and wasn't aware of the upgrade... he threw away the box and never checked for it.

So, this is really to help him out.. but no one with this radio wants to help. sad.

Anyone know the answer to this? I installed mine and threw away the box before I even knew there was a recall! I have had mine for a bit over a month now, so i don't know if it is or not.

Another question I have is how in the world do you turn down the volume on the lady in the Nav? On my DDX8019 with the nav unit installed (KNA-G510) there was a volume button on the main screen (were you pick view map or where to). There is no such button on this one. Also, for whatever reason, my DVD only plays the audio track when I am in dual zone. My 8019 it doesn't have this issue.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

See if the remote will let you do it by using the left and right buttons that are in between the AM and FM ones. On our 8019s this will control the volume as well.

Haven't gotten mine yet, but I think someone in the crutchfield forums posted it, might want to search over there.
