Do I need a Sound Processor if I keep my OEM Head Unit

I am putting together the pieces of my system and have run into a couple of questions I haven't been able to answer by searching the forums. Here is my potential system:
-Factory OEM Audiophile Head Unit (I want the clean Factory Look)
-Polk MOMO MMC5250 Components in Front Doors
-Polk db571 6x8 in rear doors
-Single 10" Kicker CVR in SupercrewSound Box
-Amp(s) ??????????
Question #1 - I would prefer to go with a single amp setup, so should I go with a 5 channel to all speakers or go with a 4 channel and run the rear door speakers from the HU? Or would I get overall better performance with two amps? Any recommendations?
Question #2 - Because I am keeping the OEM HU, how critical is it to use a sound processor i.e.
Rockford Fosgate 3SIXTY.1? Are sound processors really worth their price tags? Keep in mind that I like my music to sound clean and my bass crisp but would not consider myself an audiophile type.

Nice system. Should sound pretty good.

It really all depends on your taste, whether or not to use separate amps. It may be a little bit better in this instance because your going to need more power to the MOMO's then the 700.5 will give. The JL 500/5 would actually be perfect for this job.

I really always recommend one for the simple fact of better controllable sound. That and the bass wont level out halfway up.... And the LOC is built in. But if your not looking for audiophile quality its not a necessity. But I am really happy with my 3Sixty.2

Thanks. Can you explain to me how the rotary knob works in conjunction with the 3SIXTY.1? It appears that it can be used for overall volume control or subwoofer volume control. I'm trying to maintain my factory look and do not want to mount a rotary knob in plain view. I definitely want to maintain my volume control on the steering wheel so I would most likely use the knob for bass volume control. Can the knob be positioned to a bass setting that you are comfortable with and then mounted out of sight i.e. behind the back seat with the amps? Or do you need have the knob accessible in order to control your bass volume at all times.

I'm doing a system very similar to this and would like to know about the seperate volume/bass control knob, also. I'd like to keep my steering wheel volume button as the primary control.

For the OEM configuration. You will need to use the knob for the volume. Otherwise the bass restoration will not matter. Because when you set it up, you will program the volume @ approx 1/3 - 1/2 (before the bass cuts out). Then you use the knob to adjust volume. Press the button in and the you switch to aux. The knob is able to be taken apart to custom mount.
