On mine, Premium 6 disc NON audiophile the smaller harness was for the Sirius satellite radio. On the audiophile units there is a small plug for the subwoofer outputs.

I've got an '05 and the same question. Bare bones stock system. Single disk/non MP3, no sub. I have an aftermarket alarm w/remote start and the remote start won't work since I put the new HU in. What does that plug really do? Does anyone have a wiring diagram?

If you unplug your radio does your rem start come back? And did you mess with anything other than the radio harnesses?
