5x8's and no, I don't believe there are RCA outputs.

I think the 5x8's and 6x8's are the same in the sense that both will fit in the openings. I just put in 4 / 5x8s in my Supercrew tonight...

Try 5x7 or 6x8. There is no such size as a 5x8...

To the OP post in the correct section next time please. This should be in the Speakers and Subwoofers forum.

Thanks. Honestly, I went a pretty cheap route. All my Tax Money is going to bills and my new exhaust.

My 3 year old used my factory Head Unit as her piggy bank, so after I pulled it out, I empitied all the change and the CD player wasn't working correctly (wouldn't eject CD). I also picked up a Zune not too long ago so I wanted something with an aux input to play it. I put my entire system togther for $100 which includes new HU and 4 new speakers. For $100, I am EXTREMELY happy with the outcome. And now I can play my Zune too directly through the stereo instead of using an FM transmittier (which sounded like ****).

Any, here's what i did:

HU - http://www.partsamerica.com/ProductD...egoryCode=3084

I read a few reviews on the HU before I picked it up. It's a pretty good / great unit for the cost. But is not satellite ready.

As far the speakers go, simple plug and play with these.

http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showd...number=269-326

Which was recommended by this thread if you want to see how everyone likes them.

FYI cheap 5x7's

Like I said, I needed to do something and for $100, this set up can't be beat. I figure this will last me a while and if / when I decide to get something better, I am only out $100. Less because I'll sell it all here or on Ebay. This just allows me to allocate my funds on projects with higher priority for my truck...

Really, that's strange. I got a 404 error on the 2nd one also, but not the first one with the HU...

Try this for the speakers:

http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showd...number=269-326

If that doesn't work, then click here and in the first post by the OP (styxnpicks), click the link the link to the speakers he provides:
http://www.f150online.com/forums/sho...ighlight=cheap

As for the HU, go to www.partsamerica.com and in the search field, type in XDM6820, that should pull it up...
