Valor crap

I purchased the Valor DTS-603W touch screen dvd/ipod player/radio awhile back and didn't own an Ipod. So i went out and got one and wouldn't you know, Valor doesn't support my "version" of Ipod. So i gave them a call and they said it was my Ipod, so i called up some friends and wouldn't you know the only persons Ipod to work was one that was over a year old. Then I called Valor and told them my problem, so they said to check back with them. This has been going on for 4 or 5 months, is there anyway for me to play my ipod using this POS?

Maybe you could roll back the firmware version on your ipod. I don't know how to do that though or if it's even possible. Then you'd probably have to find an older version of i-tunes too. I'd just buy a different HU and sell that one to some unsuspecting kid on craigslist.

you can.... find the correct version of the firmware online and download it to your desktop. plug in your ipod and pull up itunes. when the ipod options thing is selected right click on update and i window will appear asking you to choose a file then select the aforementioned software... tada you just did "the impossible"....
