99 F150 Clock Set

The clock in my truck has been an hour off for a couple weeks now. i've tried to figure out how to set it while driving down the interstate - but i can't seem to get it.

does anyone know how to reset the clock on a stock 99 F150 cd player?

you can kind of see the exact head unit in these photos:

  1. turn stereo off.
  2. press the RDS button.
  3. it then asks you to set the hour. use the toggle just to the right of the clock to select the hour (i believe that was the bass/treble switch).
  4. press the RDS button again, select the minutes.
  5. press the RDS button again to save the time.
  6. turn your stereo back on.
