Steering Wheel Audio Controls

I have an '06 STX and I want to install audio controls on the steering wheel. Everything is stock. Are the wires already in the steering wheel or is there a kit I can buy?

Bump - Looking for this answer too

Does anyone know if the steering wheel with cruise control only is pre-wired with audio controls for a retro-fit with the audiophile system?

Damn i love being refered to .. haha
The wiring is NOT there for the audio. You will need the buttons and the wiring as it is a bit different then the original cruise-only wiring. Then you need to make the connection like mentioned in my thread.

Im not sure if it is possible if you dont have cruise as the clockspring maybe different. But for XLTs i can definitely tell you its all there for you to hook up.
Just a matter of running ONE wire from the clockspring to the radio plug.

Any questions please ask me on the other thread so that we can contain any relevant info in one place, and we can eliminate clutter and confusion.

May be a little off topic..........
Not to hijack but.......
I installed a pioneer head a little bit ago that came with a small wireless remote.
Im thinking Im never going to use this thing.
After looking around a bit I used some velcro and mounted it where the steering wheel audio contols would be.

Works like a charm even with gloves on.
