Cheap Headunits with Ipod port?

Now that my single 8" sub has started to mess up, i'm probably gonna end up getting two 12s mounted in the back now since my amp can handle the extra watts. I've heard that its best to get a new headunit when you do this (when i bought the truck it had the small sub and amp in it already) because it will sound alot better. So since i'm on sort of a budget does anyone know of a cheaper aftermarket headunit that has an ipod port but will not sacrifice too much quaility? any suggestions are welcome. Thank you in advance for all the help.

i just went through this, was on a budget and needed the ipod direct connect, and also had poor signal to my amp from the stock deck. found a nice pioneer unit that came free with mounting kit, wiring harness, and ipod cable/compatibility. i installed it myself, pretty easy.

I purchased a Kenwood X-591. I love it a lot. You can control the ipod with the headunit.
