Need help

I have a 2004 F-150 SCREW and on my stock cd player their is a headphone symbol that I can't seem to get rid of (will post pics but don't know how to upload them in a post) and sound only seems to be either in the back or in the front only, can't get both going. Thought it has something to do with the DVD player in the rear but when I press the headphone/speaker button is only seems to toogle between "singal play and dual play" but all that does is transfer from front to back speakers. Will post some pics if someone will tell how..any help would be great!

Hold the 3 and 5 buttons for 3 - 5 seconds. That will get rid of it.

Thanks! That did 'er! You wouldn't happen to know how to get the front and back speakers to play simultaneously, would you?

Just find the Fade control and make sure it is balanced between front and rear speakers.

Then, you need to take your truck in for servicing. Hopefully, it is still under warranty.
I'm guessing a short in the speaker line or head unit.
If it is out of warranty, you can always upgrade to a better unit and speakers. Not as much money as many folks think it is.
I gutted my '04 Vette and re-did everything and am glad I did.
