Will an F-350 HU work in an F-150?

Has anyone installed an F-350 head unit into an F-150?
Will it have to be reprogrammed or will it work if the trucks have the same speaker setup? Will it have to same illumination problem people are having after installing the Explorer HU.
The F-150 HU part # is 7L3T- and the F-350 HU # is 8C3T-.

Thanks in advance.

I haven't tried it, but the Ford radio guide makes it seems the 2007 F-150 is compatable with 2008 F250/F350 head units. The F250 & F350 use the same head units. Only the navigation system requires a CPU upload (reprogram). The 2007+ Delphi units are not backwards compatable. You may need to get an adapter for the antenna (coax to triax) for some applications.
