Your opinions on factory refurbished HU's

Let me have it, what do you guys think of factory refurb's - im looking at a kenwood ddx6019 - and refurbs are cheap - college kid on a limited budget here. Good idea or not?

By all mean if it saves money do it and get a extended warranty. If that seller don't offer the warranty go to onlinecarstereo.com cause they do.

I bought my headunit there and it was reburbished saving me loads. There's not a fingerprint or scratch to be seen and aside from the -RB on the serial number I would swear it was brand new.

For sure man, refurbs are great, they are put back to factory specs and are sometimes better than original!! Do the warranty thing though, just to be safe!
Impact9 how do you like your deck? I have the 25th anniversary amp but went with the 815dvd model, couldn't fork out the 1400 for the XXV-05V which is what I really wanted!!

I love the deck. My only complaint is that the cables for the remote boxes (DSP & TV) are extremely long. So long I think that I could have put them on the rear bumper. Ah well maybe for my next vehicle I can put all that junk in the trunk haha.
