Pioneer DEH-P2600 blows HU fuse

Hello all... hope someone can give me some good advice. I picked up a HU from a local auction site for a steal (or so I thought). I've tried to just power the unit up to see if it even works and everytime I do, I blow the little fuse (blade) in the back of the HU (10A). I've tried almost every power option I have at my disposal... car battery, computer power supply and everytime the fuse blows. I took the HU apart lastnight to see if anything was obviously blown on the board... didn't see anything. One thing I did notice however is this. I have a multi meter set to ohms (continuity). When I place one lead on the ground terminal in the back of the HU (where the harness plugs in) and touch the other lead to each speaker terminal, continuity is zero (0), but 1 lead, Front Left Negative, shows 0.20ohms...

Is it possible that this is causing my issues with fuses???

Sorry for such a long post, but hopefully someone with far greater knowledge can help me out!
