Puttin head unit in truck from my old car

ok so im taking my pioneer head unit from my old car and putting it into my truck. i have a question though. i have a six cd changer and i was wondering if that will still work even though the new head unit has a cd player in it as well. and if so how does it end up hooking up. i havent taken anything apart yet so i dont know what its like behind there.

You didn't give too many details on the cd changer.

IF it's a ford changer =NO
If it's a RF(radio freq) changer = YES
IF it's a Pioneer changer AND your deck model has a "P" then YES
IF it's anything else = NO NO NO NO
