Double check the radio antenna connector at the back of the new head unit. Make sure it's not damaged and that it is properly installed.

Most head units have a coax antenna connector (1 center conductor and an outer shield). Many Fords use a triax antenna connector (1 center conductor, 1 inner shield, 1 outer shield). If your antenna connector is a triax, you will probably need an adapter to plug it into the head unit correctly.

On many models, the antenna wire is made up of two cables connected behind the glove box. It's rare, but the cables may have become disconnected behind the glove box.
