Connecting sub output on an Audiophile HU to aftermarket amp?

I switched out the stock head unit in my 05 F150 xlt (tape and cd player) and swapped in an Audiophile 6 disc mp3 changer. The problem is now I lost the bass that the old HU had. I heard the Audiophile has a built in cross over that puts the bass at the subwoofer plug. I want to build my own sub and add an amp, but keep the stock HU. I plan to use a line out converter like a PAC unit, and was thinking the best wires to tap into would be from the subwoofer connector from the HU.

So the problem is my truck isnt wired for the Audiophile unit, so no connector for the subwoofer. Is there any place i can get the connector and pigtail wiring (male portion that would plug into the female plug on the back of the HU) so i can make my own harness? i would only really need the remote lead and signal leads, but figure the cleanest installation would be to somehow get this wiring pigtail. I'll be connecting power to the amps directly from the battery.

I did a search and found this link...

Has anyone done this before? Anyone have part numbers and which wires do what from the harness?
