replace fm antenna with 2 inch shorter antenna

I need a shorter antenna than what comes on the f150, need about 2 inches shorter for the garage, but most of the shorter antennas are a lot shorter, any suggestions on replacements and also I tried to remove the antenna by hand but it is very tight, do I need to use a wrench the 1st time the antenna is removed?

All you need is a pair of pliers or something to unscrew it.

Most people that want a shorter antenna VERY CAREFULLY pull the little ball off the top of the antenna with some pliers or the like (use a rag between the pliers and the ball so you dont scratch it up), cut off a chunk of the antenna with some snips, then superglue the ball back on.
