Lightbulb Factory 6 pack won't do 6

Hello to all,
Recently purchased a gently used 98 F-150 with a stacker mounted in the supercabs rear quarter pannel , and my question is this:
I can't get this unit to play the #6 disc. I have no trouble with 1-5, but I hear #6 shuffle into service, then the factory dash radio says "NO' or "NO CD" , can't recall exactly what it says. The radio with then refuses to shuffle back to any of the others, and will only start playing again after ejecting the CD holder magazine and re-installing it. The previous owner said it was not a factory unit, but I see no brand markings on it or the magazine, so I tend to think it IS factory. Will a little blast of air in the opening hurt or help, most likely no on both. I know the dealer would ship it to a stereo shop or replace it, and a stereo shop will not even bother looking at it so this is where I need some input if you have seen this problem before. Secondly, if it is a factory unit, how do you remove the unit from its mounting spot next to the rear seat? I think a little look inside after opening it all up might answer all!
