new head unit pics/video..jvc kd-ar870 with sirius sir-jvc1 tuner 2005 f150.

overall it looks and sounds great. i have the sirius tuner (sir-jvc1) installed, and used the metra dash kit from crutchfield. i didnt use the mounting cage, i iso mounted it so i could use the metra trim plate which makes it look more flush. sirius works awesome and the display shows the whole artist and song title in 2 nice looking lines of display. i highly recommend this head unit. it does have a detachable face if anyone is worried about theft.

here are some pics and a vid of how sirius works..

again, the headunit is a jvc kd-ar870 and sir-jvc1 sirus tuner, with metra dash kit from crutchfield.

Nice. I like that it displays the Artis and track info for Sirius. Did you have to purchase an external Sirius receiver?

yes you have to buy the SIR-JVC1 to go with the headunit to get sirius. it plugs right into the back of the radio, it doesnt need seperate power, it works off the headunit.
